Sam Musgrave

Sam is Green Hat Consulting’s Lead Building Regulations Consultant, specialising in Principal Designer Building Regulations (PD BR) services and Building Safety Act compliance. He has a background in architectural technology and design coordination and has worked on complex projects from concept through to completion.

Sam helps clients, designers, contractors, and other duty holders meet their responsibilities under the Building Regulations and Building Safety Act. He provides practical advice on compliance, design risk management, Gateway submissions, and regulatory requirements.

He takes a collaborative approach to project delivery and works closely with stakeholders throughout the design and construction process. His focus is on finding practical solutions that support compliance while helping projects move forward efficiently.

As a senior member of the team, Sam also supports Green Hat’s technical standards and continuous improvement initiatives. He shares knowledge with colleagues, contributes to best practice development, and helps maintain a consistent, high-quality service for clients.
